Olga is a working mom, who strives every day to provide for her family. Her husband, Alexander, also works hard at home, to take care of their son, Vladik. Vladik is handicapped, but it wasn’t always that way.

Vladik was riding in a car driven by the parent of a friend. The parent had a heart attack while driving and crashed. Immediately, Vladik’s life changed, as he sustained a severe spinal cord injury. He now lives confined to a wheelchair or the bed.
Recently, the family was visited by one of our local volunteers. The volunteer’s son was in the same class as Vladik and knew what had happened in the accident. Since Vladik is no longer able to attend school, the volunteer wanted to reach out to the family to help. He found that they were in need of food and other assistance. Through our partnership with The Children’s Hunger Fund, this volunteer has now been bringing Food Paks to this family, and continues to be of help as needed.
Vladik and his family are grateful for the much needed assistance in this difficult time. There is no road for recovery for Vladik, but the local volunteers are committed to faithfully serving his family from this time onward, with resources provided through Children’s Hunger Fund and the USANA True Health Foundation.
Remember, 100 percent of all donations made to the USANA True Health Foundation ALWAYS go toward changing lives across the world.
