Can you believe the holiday season is just around the corner? It’s a time for all of us to reflect on what we’re grateful for, and the USANA True Health Foundation would like to express how thankful we are to have such generous donors.
This year alone, we were able to raise a more than $1.1 million in cash and donations. That’s 4.4 million meals on the tables of families in need!
Needless to say, we’re making a huge impact, and we couldn’t do it without your help. So, once again, thank you.
Now for the fun part–where we get to tell you what we’re doing with your donations.
I will start by reminding you that 100 percent of every single dollar you donate to the USANA True Health Foundation goes toward helping humanity and saving lives. This means every penny makes a difference.
We can make this promise, because we’re fortunate enough to have the incredible support of our founders, so none of our administrative costs are covered by the money received from donations.
Speaking of donations…thanks to each and every one of you who chose to contribute to our Foundation in 2015, the USANA family was able to help the victims of the Malaysia flooding, Nepal earthquake, and thousands of othersin need around the globe.
None of this could have been done without your support. Together, we were able to save so many lives this year, and we look forward to being able to do even more in 2016. In case you haven’t heard, we recently grew our team by adding some fresh faces to our leadership.
So now we look forward at new opportunities to give back. And with the new season approaching, I like to think about the true spirit of the holidays. It brings a chance to spend quality time with our families and make lasting memories.
As I think about these things, I can’t help but dwell on the fact there are hundreds of thousands of people who are unable to have the same experiences. I ask you to please keep these people in both your mind and your heart. The holidays are about giving, whatever that looks like to you individually.
