1. We have a global commitment to ending hunger
The USANA Foundation’s primary focus is to combat hunger and malnutrition on a global scale.
Over the years, we have successfully provided over 74 million meals in 44 countries, making a substantial impact on the lives of vulnerable communities.
But more than that—by addressing the root causes of hunger, the Foundation empowers individuals and families to break the cycle of poverty and lead healthier, more sustainable lives.
2. Our team is dedicated and we have widespread support
The USANA Foundation is operated by a team of nine dedicated employees who work tirelessly to ensure the success of our global and local initiatives. Additionally, we are fortunate because the Foundation receives extensive support from USANA Health Sciences’ global employees and associates.
Because 100% of our administration costs are covered by USANA Health Sciences, that means 100% of donations we receive go directly to programs that feed and sustain families around the world.
This collaborative effort demonstrates a shared commitment to making a positive difference in the world and amplifies the Foundation’s impact.
3. We build sustainable gardens through Garden Towers
One of the USANA Foundation’s key initiatives is the creation of Garden Towers, which are innovative, efficient vertical gardening systems that can hold up to 120 plants per tower.
Over the last two years, the Foundation has constructed over 17,000 Garden Towers, with plans to expand this number significantly in the coming months and years.
These Garden Towers play a vital role in providing thousands of healthy meals to families in need, as a set of two Towers can generate an additional 2,600 nutritious meals every year.
So far, we’ve been able to successfully implement this Garden Tower program in 13 countries!
4. You can actively support the Garden Tower program
The USANA Foundation encourages anyone passionate about addressing food insecurity to get involved in our Garden Tower program. By signing up to sponsor a community or give a one-time donation, individuals can make a difference in people’s lives by supporting this sustainable gardening initiative.
A one-time donation of $20 provides a family with a USANA Garden Tower and everything they need to grow sustainable food for years to come. Or, a one-time $500 donation or a monthly donation of $41 for one year helps provide Garden Tower support for an entire community of ten families.
Through this sponsorship program, more than 26,000 meals can be created, ensuring access to nutritious food for those who need it most.
5. Join us on global service trips
In addition to supporting the USANA Foundation’s Garden Tower program, individuals have the awesome opportunity to join the Foundation on global service trips. These trips allow participants to actively contribute to the creation of networks of self-sustaining Garden Tower communities.
By participating in service trips to countries such as Mexico, Kenya, and the Philippines, individuals can not only add to the existing network of support for our life-changing work, but also strengthen it. These trips provide a hands-on experience in building gardens, sharing knowledge, and fostering connections with local communities, creating lasting change and promoting self-sufficiency for years to come.
