The Hoshim family in Tajikistan has been experiencing great hardship for some time now. Their father moved to Russia to look for work but unfortunately, he rarely sends money back, leaving the family to provide for themselves. With five young children, the mother, Svetlana, is busy just trying to take care of her little ones.
The oldest boy, Ikrom, who is not even ten years old, now feels the heavy burden of providing for his family. Through our capable partners, one of our local volunteers has been able to start visiting them to provide help. He has built a relationship with the members of this family, who are feeling the weight of the absence of their father and husband.
The food provided is essential for the survival of the Hoshim family. In conversation, Ikrom thanks the USANA True Health Foundation for their support through Children’s Hunger Fund.
Remember, 100 percent of all donations made to the USANA True Health Foundation ALWAYS go toward changing lives across the world.
