Ajarn is a new volunteer that’s working with our partners in Thailand. He is from Mae Hong Son Province, where there are many refugee camps. Most of the refugee camps in the area are closed, meaning that outside people are prohibited from visiting.
Ajarn has, however, been allowed to visit the camps to bring hope to the refugees. The guards periodically allow him to visit, but they would not let him bring anything in with him. Over the last few months, Ajarn has invested some time in getting closer to the guards. As a result, they have seen his good intentions and have now allowed him to bring a few Food Paks with him during each visit. This has already impacted the lives of many of these displaced people, who often have to wait on food rations that may not always be sufficient for their needs.
We are so grateful for your donations, as they allow us, through volunteers like Ajarn, to extend a helping hand to those in the most desperate circumstances.
Remember, 100 percent of all donations made to the USANA True Health Foundation ALWAYS go toward changing lives across the world.
