How Will You Choose to Serve?
The USANA Foundation is gearing up to host our 5th annual World Service Week June 12–19, and you’re invited! This year’s event is all about tackling hunger head-on. Focus your service on food to help fight against world hunger!
There’s plenty you can do to serve someone else:
- 🍱 Pay for a stranger’s lunch
- 🥫Volunteer at a food bank
- 🪴Help tend someone’s garden
- 🥕 Adopt a Garden Tower
- 🛒 Pick up groceries for a neighbor
- 👩🏻🍳 Cook dinner for a friend who’s sick or home-bound
the list goes on!
Remember When…
A Good Deed Every Day in the Philippines
Remember when USANA Philippines went all out, using each day of World Service Week to contribute in a unique way? Associates worked with soldiers to provide food packs and groceries to homeless families.
Soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19.

Public transport drivers were comforted by the sight of those wearing Foundation shirts bringing food packs and other goods for the many who are out of work—over 350 of them received a pack. And even more frontline workers at hospitals, police stations, and other institutes, including at-risk schoolchildren, were similarly supported throughout the week. Way to go, USANA family—what an incredible inspiration!
Fundraising for Food Relief in Malaysia
On the final Saturday of World Service Week, the USANA Malaysia family and Suriana Welfare Society came together to host a Foundation fundraiser and food collection event. The sunny weekend afternoon made for a great turnout. Food packages were distributed to 1,000 families, and a significant amount of money was donated.
Everyone worked hard to haul heavy boxes of food and bags of rice, and they did it all with a joy of giving.

Fabien Ghys Gets the Work Done
While many ask for ideas and help to serve, Fabien is planning his own projects and working to make them happen. Two years ago, he and a team of friends organized a week-long service trip in Indonesia where they fed hundreds of children and made connections with multiple on-the-ground organizations—connections that remain strong to this day.
When pandemic lockdowns and travel restrictions began in 2020, he found ways to work with local Singapore charities to help feed those in need. Having recently collaborated with “A Packet of Rice”—a local charity in Singapore—Fabien worked with over 30 friends and family members to provide food for 250 people in need.

Incredible volunteers like Fabien keep us excited and inspired here at the USANA Foundation. Our work and impact around the world would not be possible without the frontline efforts of friends, volunteers, and ambassadors. When asked what advice he had for others wishing to make a difference in the world, Fabien told us, “If you don’t know what to do, just start. If you want something bad enough, you will find a solution.” We couldn’t agree more!
