So, if you’ve been keeping up with your social media, then you’re definitely up-to-date on the latest happening at USANA- the Love Life & Live It tour! The USANA Field Development team has been hard at work supporting our associates out in the field and equipping them with the tools they need to grow their businesses over the next year.
Now, if you’ve been keeping up with USANA, then you know that giving back is a huge part of who we are. The USANA family gives back through the USANA True Health Foundation. Through various strategic partnerships, the Foundation provides opportunities to connect the USANA family with the world through giving back. So, on this recent tour, the field development team set aside some time to Love Life and Give It- get it, guys? Hahaha.

On Saturday, 10th of September, USANA associates, together with representatives from the field development team participated in a one-of-a-kind coordinated Food Pak in two locations- Chicago, Illinois, and Los Angeles, California. 20 associates represented the Foundation in LA, while 14 associates represented in Chicago. In total, in 4.5 hours, they were able to pack 390 boxes!

1 box= 48 meals, guys! So that means that between these 34 people, 18,720 meals were packed in 4.5 hours! I don’t know about you, but I cannot say that I did something half this cool with my whole weekend- let alone just 4.5 hours of my time! Each box contains a mixture of grains and protein- rice, pasta, beans, canned tuna and canned vegetables. One box could feed one person for 16 days if they consistently ate three meals a day. Two weeks of not worrying about where your next meal will be coming from can free up a lot of time and creativity that can be put towards looking into a long-term solution.
Andre Gordon, USANA Emerald Director and USANA True Health Foundation champion, said of his experience, “Today was an amazing day. I felt so blessed to be able to share in an opportunity to give food to those who need it. Not only does it help those in need, it helps my soul.”
“Today, we had the opportunity to give a little of what God has provided for us. We packed boxes that contain meals for families in need in the U.S. There’s no doubt that when we work as a community to serve others, the result is amazing. Thank you USANA True Health Foundation and Children Hunger Fund for inviting us to be part of this noble cause.”
Jaime Pena, USANA Director
The Foundation is grateful for the generosity of the USANA family. Without the time and resources that you all put in, the Foundation wouldn’t be able to accomplish any of the things that we are able to now.
Remember, 100 percent of all donations made to the USANA True Health Foundation ALWAYS go toward changing lives across the world.
