Kenya · with 100 Humanitarians
Esther Kwandara is a 26-year-old entrepreneur. When she received her Garden Towers, she began growing fresh vegetables to feed herself and her family. Before long, her harvest produced more than they could eat.
Today Esther sells her extra vegetables through a small business, earning income while still putting fresh, nutritious food on her family's table. A simple garden has grown into opportunity, independence and lasting hope.
Guatemala · with Be Humanitarian
For years, Mirna Morales, a mother of four, spent precious income on market vegetables her family could barely afford. Everything changed when she received a USANA Garden Tower last fall.
Now she grows fresh vegetables steps from her home, feeding her family while cutting grocery costs, and she sells her surplus lettuce in the community for extra income. Greater food security, greater self-reliance, greater hope.

In the refugee camp where Baseme lives, fresh produce was expensive and often unavailable. With a Garden Tower, seedlings and hands-on training, she now grows a variety of vegetables just outside her home: healthy meals for her family, lower expenses and real peace of mind.
Philippines · Guimaras Island pilot
Jessa Panergar helped her parents, both Deaf, join the Foundation's Garden Tower pilot after seeing how hard it was to grow food on their steep, hilly land.
The towers planted during a recent service trip are thriving. Jessa's mother harvests fresh vegetables and greens for the family's meals, and what once seemed an impossible place to garden is now a reliable source of nourishment and independence.
