The USANA Foundation is focused on food relief.
It’s that simple! We’re committed to stamp out food uncertainty, both locally and globally. Our mission is straightforward: to provide immediate and long-term global relief for those in severe need, leading a network of community-driven partnerships to nourish, equip, and eliminate hunger throughout the world.

2019 was an incredible year for us. Not only did we rebrand our organization (previously the USANA True Health Foundation), we served throughout the world to end hunger one project at a time. In addition, the Foundation helped with immediate food relief in areas hit hard by natural disasters. We sent resources to Australia to help with the aftermath of the deadly bushfires.
And this doesn’t even include a new base of operations, the launch of USANA Kids Eat, and an updated logo.
Our efforts are focused in four areas: meals, sustainable programs, USANA nutrition, and service. Here’s how they make an impact.
Meals
Provide emergency food relief to those suffering loss, tragedy, and extreme malnutrition until long-term solutions can be executed.
In July of 2018, the Foundation provided a US $50,000 grant to Convoy of Hope to go toward food and necessity kits—canned vegetables, fresh fruit, canned meats, cooking oil, salt, coffee, personal hygiene items—for 1,428 families ravaged by hurricanes in Puerto Rico.
Not only did this effort help with immediate needs, it provided the people an opportunity to start relationships with local agencies and organizations who have the capacity for long-term involvement.
Sustainable Programs
Empower and equip individuals to create long-lasting sources of nutritious food.
As much as we would like to, the USANA Foundation can’t be everywhere at once. But we can help those in need to help themselves.
In early 2019, the Foundation provided US $7,200 to build a fish, frog, and mushroom farm for a village just outside of Chiang Mai, Thailand—a renewable food and income source for these impoverished residents.
USANA Nutrition
Distribute USANA premium supplements and alternative sources of food with higher levels of nutrients to those suffering extreme malnourishment.
For years, the Foundation has supplied Usanimals—a chewable daily vitamin, mineral, and antioxidant supplement—to many areas of the world where children suffer from malnutrition. In 2018, USANA started the Usanimals program, where two bottles of Usanimals are donated for each bottle purchased.
Serve
Join a team of passionate individuals who seek out, serve, and provide lasting support for charities and partnerships within their communities.
While monetary donations are essential to the USANA Foundation’s cause, time is just as valuable.
When the Foundation provided the US $7,200 grant to Thailand, a team of employees and Associates volunteered to travel the Land of Smiles to help pour the cement walls needed to house the frog farm and craft the mushroom hut from bamboo poles and leaves.
Doing More with Less
The generous efforts above are merely a drop in the bighearted bucket. Humanitarian work, monetary and product donations, fundraising projects, collaborations with other nonprofit groups—the Foundation lifts others out of despair, making an immeasurable difference around the world.
