When does this new program take effect?
The new program starts on August 10, 2018 and it will be shared at the 2018 International Convention.
What are the significant changes to the program?
- For every bottle of Usanimals™ purchased for donation, USANA will donate two more. That’s three bottles donated for the price of one.
- Volume points for Usanimals donations will be eliminated.
Why will the new program not include volume points?
Adopting best practices for charitable donations of goods will allow us to increase our impact and ensure the sustainability of the program. It also provides a clear record for your taxes.
How will the elimination of volume points on my donation affect my business?
In order to remain commission-qualified, you’ll need to update your Auto Order to include new or additional product orders from your customers or for your personal use to reach the required volume.
What do I have to do to switch?
Nothing. On August 10, 2018 your donation will automatically have triple the benefit. If you have been donating one bottle per month on your Auto Order, you will now be automatically donating three bottles for the same price. You will get a tax deduction for every dollar that you donate through the program.
Where do the Usanimals go?
USANA sends the majority of donated Usanimals to our longtime partner, Children’s Hunger Fund, who distributes them to many areas of the world where children suffer from extreme malnutrition. Some of these donated bottles will also be distributed to other parts of the world that THF supports.
Can I share this program with people outside of USANA?
This program is exclusive to USANA Associates and customers. Those who sign up as a Preferred Customer may make these donations.
