USANA THF steps in during a time of tragedy

Several months ago, a family in the community of Olmito, Texas suffered a very tragic accident. The family of 5 lived in a trailer home. One day while the father was at work, the mother stepped out for a few minutes with their youngest child to pay the rent, and left the two older children at home. During this time, the trailer caught on fire, killing both older children. The family was heartbroken, and suffered both emotionally and physically. One of our local volunteers is a neighbor of this family. He approached the family to show love and support, and brought a Food Pak with him. He  ...

THF in Thailand

Mr. Witboon has been serving families in northern Thailand with Food Paks for three years. Once out of depression, the families he served in the beginning were able to find work and become more Financially stable.   The Food Paks they received lessened the immediate burden of providing for their hungry families, enabling them to pay for their children’s education. Those initial families have now become participants in the Food Pak program, helping to deliver Food Paks to others in need. They now serve others in their community with the same help they received. Mr. Witboon has seen 40  ...

Medical brigades in Guatemala

Our local partners in Guatemala have been continuing their efforts with medical brigades. Recently, they targeted the municipality of Coatepeque, which is 235 kilometers from Guatemala City. Because their efforts in that area are ongoing, the vision is to continue to provide medical assistance and follow up with as many individuals as possible. The team serves approximately 1,000 patients per month with resources received through your generous donations.  Just as is in Coatepeque, the team continues to follow up with the many children and adults they serve in Jalapa, a small village of  ...

Meet Dah, John and David

Dah Moo moved to Australia four years ago after living in a refugee camp for years. She wanted to give her sons the best chance at a better future, yet there was barely enough to pay the rent and bills- let alone fund their education and provide them with the right kinds of support in their transition. She reached out to our partner, The Smith Family, who then connected them with some of the services that the Foundation provides funding for. The boys now attend learning clubs, where a safe environment is provided outside of school hours for at-risk children to work with trained tutors.  ...
