True Health Foundation Answers the Call – Hurricane Harvey

In an effort to aid those affected by the wide-spread devastation of Hurricane Harvey, the USANA True Health Foundation has donated $130,000. This amount will be used for food, nutrition and other aid through THF’s long-time partners, the Children’s Hunger Fund and International Relief Teams, as well as Houston-based officials who will assist in distribution.   “Through the generosity of our Associates and other donors, the True Health Foundation will be able to distribute 27 pallets of food equaling over 15,000 meals. USANA THF steps in during a time of tragedy

Several months ago, a family in the community of Olmito, Texas suffered a very tragic accident. The family of 5 lived in a trailer home. One day while the father was at work, the mother stepped out for a few minutes with their youngest child to pay the rent, and left the two older children at home. During this time, the trailer caught on fire, killing both older children. The family was heartbroken, and suffered both emotionally and physically. The Story of Rahman and His Wife Zaitun Bi

A Muslim refugee family from Burma has been in America only 5 months. Rahman and his wife Zaitun Bi care for their daughter, Noor Aliyah, who is 7 years-old, as well as their 5 year-old niece, Wahida. There is a huge language barrier and Rahman has had complications that render him partially blind in one eye. Rahman has already lost a job due to his health and language deficiency and this has made it hard for him to provide for his family.
