Meet the Bhujel family

On the banks of the Manohara River in Kathmandu, Nepal, lives 12-year-old Samjhana Bhujel and her family. Samjhana has two sisters, ages 10 and 5, and one younger brother, just 6 months old. When our local partners first met this girl, she was in a desperate state. Lacking the basic necessities such as food, clothing, and shelter, this child and her family struggled to survive.
