The Champions for Change 5k

Teams and individuals show up each year dressed in their best superhero costumes ready to run, walk, skip and jump for 5 kilometers through downtown Salt Lake City.

This year, we had over 1,600 USANA Associates and members of the public join us bright and early.

You might just recognize the faces of a couple of our more famous runners: Amy Purdy and Dr. Oz!

Every dollar of the race entry fee goes to the USANA True Health Foundation and 100% of your donations go towards helping those in need.

Not to mention an opening speech by Paralympian and Dancing With The Stars contestant, Amy Purdy and Emmy award-winning, Dr. Oz!

The competition was fierce. Our first place finisher was Saul Padua with a time of 16:51!

The first woman across the finish line was Cindy Gillies. And our fastest, young finisher was Sara Holliday.

There were team costumes including an annual favorite, Eva’s Angels and the best individual costume was a totally couture Rev3 cape!

Dr. Oz Can Dance Too!

We all know that Amy Purdy can dance, but I think Dancing With The Stars is going to be knocking on Dr. Oz’s door really soon!

Thank you so much for showing up early in your costumes and for all of the fundraising you did leading up to the event.

We couldn’t do any of this without you.

Also, a huge thank you to our corporate sponsors. These companies are integral for pulling off a successful event like this!
