Hope in the slums of Thailand

In hopes of finding a job and better living conditions for their family, Kookum and his wife, Ann, emigrated from Laos to Chiang Mai about seven years ago. They settled in a slum area with their three children. Kookum and Ann work on different shifts to survive and care for their children and they still don’t earn enough money to move out of the slums. On top of that, Kookum’s undocumented status makes life even more difficult without government assistance. PSome of our local volunteers began serving in the slum. They were able to support Kookum and his family with some basic needs  ...

Kolia from Ukraine

Kolia is handicapped and in a wheelchair, but he is full of life and energy. One volunteer met him in the street and became friends with him. Smiles from Zimbabwe

The Zimbabwe container has been delayed and it just arrived to our partners. They are now working to get the product distributed to those in their community. The container carried about 15,000 lbs. of white navy beans, 20,000 lbs. of vitamin fortified rice casserole meals, Usanimals™, and books. We will not receive feedback on the product until February.                   Remember, 100 percent of all donations made to the USANA True Health Foundation ALWAYS go toward changing lives across the world.

Three stories of hope in Mexico

Mexicali is an agricultural valley in Baja California, Mexico. Mexicali’s economy has been historically based on agricultural products, and to this day this remains a large sector of the economy. Our local partners currently provide 620 Food Paks that are transported from Tijuana each month and are distributed amongst the locals. One volunteer visited a single mother in the community. She has three children that she is trying to support on her own. Here is one of the children named Carlos, a timid 9 year old boy. He was extremely happy to receive the Food Pak that was provided for him  ...
